Favorite Yoga Travel Moment
I loved the excursions most of all on this retreat. We visited a local farmer’s market, walled cities, and even a castle. These experiences gave us the history of the region and truly made me feel like I stepped back in time. The raw beauty of it all was wonderful! We even toured the mini city where they filmed the movie, ‘Chocolate.’
Most Memorable Moment
Sometimes travel is really difficult.
Sadly I will never forget that while I was leading this retreat, one of my best friends lost her battle with cancer back at home. Having to hold space for others while mourning the loss of my dear friend Erika, was one of the most challenging things I’ve ever done.
Erika traveled with me to the Galapagos and Bali.
Every time I travel now, I carry her with me in my heart.
Most Unique Experience
We visited a local mom-and-pop winery and spent the whole day there. The owner taught us all about organic wines, offered us a food and wine pairing, and showed us how to blend and bottle our own bottle of wine.
