Favorite Yoga Travel Moment

While in Cambodia, The Travel Yogi set up a special event where our group came together with Buddhist monks. They meditated with us, chanted for us, and we even had an open Q&A session. We learned about the fundamentals of Buddhist life. This had a profound impact on me. The discussion turned toward suffering and impermanence. Buddhists believe these two elements exist in life. That we are not to hold on to anything, as life is ever-changing and that suffering exists as part of nature. We must release our own suffering. That suffering we create in our own minds. This information and guidance is still so present in my heart.

Most Unique Experience

Exploring Angkor Wat while staying in Cambodia — what an amazing sight to see! This special area features many ancient temples, some created as far back as 1000 AD. There are temples devoted to the Hindu God Shiva and some devoted to Buddha. It was very surreal walking through these temples. We felt like we were on a movie set!

Most Memorable Moments

So many many things — the buzz of life in Hanoi, the magic of Ha Long Bay, the Lanterns of Hoi An, the temples and monks in Cambodia.
